Dan and Tara are friends of mine, so it was extra special to be able to photograph their beautiful wedding day! I began the morning with the girls at The One Salon, while my second shooter, Joanne, spent the morning with the guys at Dan and Tara’s house! The salon was really cute and the staff did such a great job getting the bride and her bridesmaids all dolled up. They looked incredible! Once the ladies had their hair and makeup done, we returned to Tara’s sisters home to get into their dresses before the limo picked them up. It was a beautiful and bright day filled with sunshine as we headed to Rainer Gardens for the couple to say, “I Do!”. The ceremony was packed full of loved ones who had come to witness Dan and Tara exchange their vows. After some photos at Rainer Gardens, we headed to Dr. Woods House Museum to take some photos outside. It was an adorable old house that reminded me of Snow White’s Cottage. It had beautiful flowers blooming, a white picket fence, it was adorable. After some picture taking, we headed back to The Nisku Inn for the party to begin. They had prepared the most incredible feast I had ever laid eyes on! The presentation was so beautiful, and I don’t think I have ever seen so much dessert in my life! Dan and Tara’s reception was gorgeous- they kept it simple but elegant. I loved the ambient lighting they had set up. After some tears and tons of laughter, the dance floor opened up and guests danced the night away! The lovely new couple also set up games outside on the patio if some guests preferred not to dance or just needed some fresh air- it was such a great idea! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Behr! I am so thankful I got to share your special day with you! I hope you love this sneak peek!
